Lona Boggs Fields, 90 of Winnabow, died Saturday, December 30, 2000, at Brunswick Cove Nursing Center.
Mrs. Fields was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Fields; her parents, Cora Lee and Henry Boggs;
two daughters; five sisters; one brother; and three granddaughters.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Charlie and Faye Fields of Winnabow and Wallace and
Rose Fields of Palacisa, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Jake Willis of Anton, TN; one sister,
Kathleen Hammonds of Eolia, KY; eleven grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and six great-great
grandchildren. She was a member of the New Hope Old Regular Baptist Church.
