Marie Slone was born
on March 29, 1921
and
passed away on
Sunday, July 17, 2005, making her
stay here on
earth 84 years, 3 months and 18 days. She
was the daughter
of McKinley Slone and Anna
Couch Slone of
Leburn, Kentucky. She was married
to Palmer Slone
who preceded her in death. To this union was born 7
children. They
lived on Upper Mill Creek most of their lives. She
had one
half-brother, Roy Davidson, also of Leburn. He, too, preceded
her in death.
She was a member of the New Home Old Regular
Baptist Church
at Leburn. She
was a wonderful mother and Christian. She loved her
neighbors and was
always lending a helping hand.
She and Dad are
with God now, and we, her children, are looking
forward to seeing
her again.
