It is with
much sadness and deep sorrow that we
write this obituary of our loving
wife, mother, grandmother
and great-grandmother.
Opal was born
on February 18, 1935 to the late
Milford and Lillie Mae Hall of Beaver,
Kentucky. Opal
had eight brothers, Hillard

Oley (deceased), Doley,
Palmer, Tony (deceased), and Tivis;
and four sisters, Doney Flannery,
Mildred Osborne (deceased), Arizona
Hall (deceased), and Juanita
Tackett. On January 21, 1953 she
married her loving companion,
Frank Johnson, who was the love of her
life. They had ten children,
Darlene (Ricky) Henson, Justine “Jan”
Hamilton, Estilene Johnson
(deceased), Barbara (Gary) Hamilton,
Abrilene (Leroy) Hamilton,
Frank Jr. (Jill) Johnson, Shelia
(Ralph) Bryant, Stacy (April) Johnson,
Misty Reynolds and Christy (Mike)
Adams; ten grandchildren, Carrie
Clark, Gi Gi Henson, Marlin and Dedra
Hamilton, Heather
Hamilton, Jermey Johnson, Dillian and
Casey Johnson, Mariah Ratliff
and Summer Adams; and two great
grandchildren, Haley Clark and
Collin Howell. Opal and Frank were
married 52 years, until God
called her home on November 8, 2004.
Opal was a homemaker and
loved going to yard sales and flea
markets. She attended Pleasant
Valley Church. Everyday gets harder
and harder living without her
but we know she is in Heaven, watching
over us. She will always be
in our hearts and in our Father’s
house.
Written with
much love and sadness, her
husband and children.
